Quality Manager

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Greater Kitchener who needs to hire a Quality Manager. What they need is someone who has been employed with a metals fabrication company as a Quality Manager. To attract the best candidates, my client is offering a competitive pay rate ($110,000 – $115,000/year), and a good benefits program.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a Quality Manager in a metal fabrication environment
• Work experience in a machining and welding facility
• Experience implementing and managing Quality systems like ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.
• Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and plans all Quality functions.
• Promote a Quality  across all departments.
• Prepare, maintain, and update quality documentation
• Manage certifications and quality audits
• Works directly with external auditors
• Manages the metrics of the quality department
• Works with the quality team to ensure individual growth
